Itinerary

This tour begins with the respective pick up from the hotel at the scheduled time, then start with the first point of visit which is the main cathedral of Cusco, in this imposing colonial temple we will observe the architecture of the Andean baroque and the best samples of Andean religious art and paintings dating from colonial times.

Then we will go to the temple of the sun QORICANCHA that in Inca times was very important for its fine constructions of imperial type which was a religious precinct dedicated to the sun. After visiting the Qoricancha we will go to the outskirts of the city of Cusco to visit 4 archaeological centers arriving initially to SAQSAYHUAMAN archaeological site of religious nature characterized by its constructions with cyclopean stones, monoliths of more than 100 tons, then we will visit QENQO which was also an important religious site in the Incanate has constructions with characteristics of labyrinths and zigzags. Then we will visit PUCA PUCARA Inca archaeological site that served a military function as a defensive point of the city of Cusco during the Inca period. Finally we will visit TAMBOMACHAY religious archaeological site dedicated to water here we can observe Inca infrastructure embodied in gutters and water aqueducts.
