Vinicunca mountain, known as the mountain of 7 colors, red mountain or rainbow mountain, is a magical place surrounded by snow-capped mountains, camelids, birds, rivers and Andean communities, now has become the most visited natural wonder of Peru.
This tour starts with the pick up at your hotel from 4:30 am. To 5:00 am. To then enrumbarnos in our transport to the south of Cusco, travel time 2 hours to the community of Cusipata where we will have our breakfast.
Then we will continue for 1 hour and 30 minutes until we arrive to PHULLAWASIPATA, at the beginning of the hike which is at an altitude of 4,600 m.a.s.l. approx. From there we will start our hike through a path of easy access for an estimated time of 1 hour 40 minutes and we will arrive to the Mountain of Colors Vincunca.
Vinicunca is located at 5,200 m.a.s.l. approx. It represents one of the most impressive natural wonders of the Ausangate trail. An Andean deity in the Inca civilization, Vinicunca is currently listed by the travel magazine NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC as one of the 100 places in the world to visit before you die.
After enjoying the wonder that our mother nature presents us, we will return by the same route, where our transportation will be waiting for us, we will travel for 1 hour and 40 minutes to Cusipata lunch place (same place where we had breakfast).
Later we return to Cusco, approx. 4:30 and 5:00 pm, ending at the Plaza Regocijo in the city of Cusco.
