Itinerary of the tour.

This journey begins with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco between 6:30 am to 6:50 am.  We will travel south on the road that leads to the province of Canas, during the journey we will observe the pomacanchi lagoon, the enigmatic lagoon of Urcos, where the stories tell that the last Inca ordered to take all the gold of the tawantinsuyo so that it is not plundered by the Spaniards and the lagoon of yanaoca, where we will visit a somewhat tiny volcano and the pass of the same name.

Arriving at "queswachaca" located at (3,600 masl.) we will have the opportunity to visit the ancestral bridge, which is an architectural and cultural heritage of the Incas. The Inca bridge "queswachaca" is built over the majestic Apurimac River (the god that speaks), located in the province of Canas. The last Inca bridge suffers the deterioration of its material (straw) due to the inclement climate of the highlands, so it requires annual maintenance consisting of a total reconstruction. The reconstruction is the responsibility of the Perccaro, Huinchi, and Qqewe farming communities. The dimension of the bridge is 33 m. long and 1.20 m. wide, the (ichu) is the material found in the highlands of Peru. Since Inca times the reconstruction is done in 3 days and the 4th day the ceremony concludes with a folkloric festival, where you can share the traditions and customs unique in the world.
After visiting the Q'eswachaka bridge, we will continue our trip to the viewpoint of Mosoqllaqta, where we will appreciate the lagoons of Pampamarca and Asnaqocha, then we will go to the viewpoint of the lagoons of Acopia and Pomacanchi, observing a large amount of flora and fauna.
At the end of the visit of the 4 lagoons we will return to Cusipata where we will enjoy our lunch and then take the transport back to the city of Cusco ending between 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the main square or agreed point.
